- I refuse to believe that there can't be reformation for a 10 and an 11 year old. As soon as we give up on kids, that's when we've totally lost. What I don't understand is how parents can not see that there 10 year old is violent.

- Queenie, If as you say, the man has no more right to his sperm once it leaves his body, he shouldn't have to support the child. If he does need to support the child (and of course he does), then he should be able to have a veto vote on abortion (unless the mother's life is in danger).

- I appreciate motherhood. A better solution to the problem of paying women to stay home, would be to pay men more money. That way dad can work and mom can stay home and raise the kids.

Is 12 too old to trick or treat?

- I stopped giving out candy because I was sick of all the teenagers coming and grabbing handfuls of candy. Sorry they ruined it for everyone. Had they only taken one a piece, it might not have bothered me so much. I was 11 the last time I trick or treated.
- TFNJ, Yep. It made me not want to give handfuls of candy to rude teenagers so that there wasn't any left when the little kids came. I'd rather just not give candy to anyone under those circumstances. Polite teenagers--fine.
- When I was a kid we would go trick or treating and the adults would hold out the bowl of candy. We would pick out one piece, put it in our bag and say thank you. The little kids still did that a few years ago. But, the teenagers grabbed handfuls. I'm not a curmudgeon. I'm not a grump.
- I actually used to like getting raisins when I trick or treated.
